More Concept Art
Here's some color tests for the kitchen. I will probably make the kitchen more spacious in the final film, since there's too much clutter right now to fit the characters in the scene.

Kitchen looks cool, but it is a bit cluttered. Maybe get rid of the folding chairs, since people usually keep stuff like that in a closet. The yellow kitchen's neat, but to me it looks kind of like it's made out of solid gold, like if Donald Trump had a more modest kitchen, with folding chairs. A light green one might look nice.
ReplyDeleteI think the blue you used for the earlier concepts is actually 'spookier' than the blue you have in the hallway here, but I guess it all depends on context. Mood isn't determined by color alone.
I like that you have him in the chandelier, but I initially thought he was sitting in a giant soup ladle. Maybe give it some glass panes, or a pattern or something.
Looks good.
Nice work, although a bit busy. I am still worried about the BGs competing with the character. Make sure you place your character in the BG before deciding on the final design.
